SRNL congratulates Ed Ketusky’s appointment as waste management fellow
SRNL congratulates Tech Source subcontractor Ed Ketusky on his recent appointment of Waste Management Fellow. Ketusky has more than 30 years of technology development and engineering experience focusing on solving complex radioactive material storage and packaging issues. Active in Waste Management Symposia for the last 18 years, he has been a Program Advisory Committee (PAC) Member for the last 17 years. He has been involved with the Savannah River Site in a variety of capacities since 1991 and currently works as a Storage and Transportation Packaging Sr Fellow at SRNL providing key developmental and regulatory expertise.
Established in 2011, the honor of Fellow is attained through peer recognition and confirmed by the WM Board of Directors based on a list of criteria. The Fellow program recognizes volunteers for distinguished contributions to the advancement of radioactive waste and radioactive material management.
In addition to a strong professional record, candidates for Fellow must have a history of demonstrated leadership and volunteer service exceeding 15 years. They must also be a thought leader in the field and a significant contributor to the technical program of WM Symposia.

“I am truly honored to be named a Waste Management Fellow,” said Ketusky. “This recognition reflects the collaborative efforts of many talented colleagues and mentors at SRS, SRNL and others who have shaped and continue to shape my career contributing to the viability of nuclear [technology].”
