Position
Debbie Mann joined the Battelle Savannah River Alliance, LLC, at the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) in June 2021 as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Business Services. In this position, Debbie is responsible for partnering with Laboratory management to accomplish strategic outcomes by providing financial support, oversight, and direction.
Experience
Prior to joining SRNL, Debbie served as the Director of Business Operations at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). In this position, she was responsible for providing financial guidance, analysis, and reporting, and maintaining oversight of the budgeting processes. While at ORNL, she also held other management positions including Business Manager for several directorates (Nuclear Science and Engineering, Neutron Science, and Nuclear Operations), Manager for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Program, Travel and Conference Center Manager, and Indirect Budget Manager. Prior to joining ORNL, she worked for the Department of Energy as an accountant for 10 years in the Oak Ridge Financial Service Center and the Savannah River Operations Office and as an auditor for 3 years with the Department of Energy’s Office of Inspector General.

Debbie is a strong advocate for education, and while in Tennessee, she served on the Board of Directors for the Education Foundation for Clinton City and Anderson County Schools and the Youth Leadership of Anderson County.
